The Sniffari is a calm, enriching 1 hour adventure designed for all dogs, from young, high-energy explorers to older dogs who prefer a slower, more thoughtful pace. This session focuses on natural exploration and scent work, allowing your dog to move through the world as they experience it — led by nose, curiosity, and quiet discovery, rather than distance or intensity.
While The Sniffari is gentle in nature, it’s not only for slower-paced dogs. For high-energy dogs, sniffing provides powerful mental stimulation that can be just as tiring (if not more) than physical exercise. These dogs are still free to move, explore, and engage — just in a way that helps them settle, focus, and decompress.
Dogs can enjoy the Sniffari on-lead or off-lead, depending on their needs, training level, and your preference. Every walk is tailored to ensure your dog feels safe, relaxed, and confident. I thoughtfully pair dogs with others in their local suburb who share a similar temperament and personality, creating small, well-matched groups that feel calm, balanced, and familiar.

For dogs who need a bigger outlet, we can also explore quiet bush tracks and hikes, away from busy roads and people, private and secure properties where dogs can safely enjoy off-lead freedom. It’s about finding the right balance for each individual dog.
Every Sniffari is shaped around the dogs in that group on that day. Some walks are slow and meandering…others include more movement, space, and freedom. There’s no “one way” to do a Sniffari — only what works best for the dogs involved. For instance, putting a younger high energy dog with a slower mature dog just doesn't work. That equals frustration for both as their individual needs are not being met. I always do what is best for the dogs involved.
Whether your dog arrives bursting with energy or moving at a gentler pace, they leave The Sniffari feeling: mentally fulfilled, calm and settled and satisfied in a natural, balanced way. Because sometimes what dogs really need is not more chaos — but the chance to slow down, explore, and just be dogs!
