CURRENT OPENINGS
With up to 20 dogs enjoying adventures with me each day, careful planning is essential to keep everyone safe, happy and relaxed. Dogs are matched based on their suburb, walking pace, age, fitness level, personality and friendships. To minimise travel time and maximise adventure time, dogs are only walked in areas close to their home suburb. With just a few minutes allocated for each pickup and drop-off, it's simply not possible to go back and forth across multiple suburbs throughout the day.
My groups are kept small, with a maximum of four dogs per adventure. This allows me to give every dog the attention they deserve while maintaining a calm, enjoyable group dynamic. Not every dog is suited to every group. High-energy dogs can not be paired with slower dogs, young dogs aren't matched with senior dogs, and friendships are built carefully over time. Many dogs feel most comfortable walking with familiar companions, so I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully. It's quite funny how I often think certain dogs will love each other and they don't or two dogs who are completely different in every way discover they are the best of friends. Just like people, not every dog likes one another. I take time with introductions.Trust between dogs and myself doesn't happen overnight, and I never rush the process.
For safety reasons, I do not walk dogs in the dark or at dusk, and I don't offer adventures longer than 2 hours. While some dogs would happily stay out all day, many others prefer the consistency of their regular dog group and routine, mixing and matching doesn't work. Keeping adventures structured allows me to ensure every dog receives the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.
Current openings are listed below. If there isn't a suitable adventure available, you're welcome to join the waitlist. Please note; the waitlist is often quite long, and new spaces usually only become available when an existing dog moves away or retires from their adventures due to age.
Every group has been carefully created, and finding the right fit is always more important than filling a space.
